The series is designed to be a manageable time commitment while providing significant benefits to students facing the rigors of law school and desiring to learn skills for success, balance, and wellbeing in law school and law practice.
Schedule on Mondays in October (October 5, 12, 19, and 26):
11:45 am - 1:00 pm Sessions for 1Ls in Room 345 (lunch provided)
2:45 pm – 4:00 pm Sessions for 2Ls/3Ls in Room 345 (snacks provided)
Series Summary:
Students will learn basic mindfulness practices, including sitting meditation, moving meditation practices, and concentration & awareness activities that help them cultivate a sense of presence, focus, and equanimity. Through class discussions and assigned exercises, students learn to integrate mindfulness into their daily law school experience.
